Privex VPN — Terms of Service

By creating an account and using Privex VPN you agree to the following terms. If you do not agree, please uninstall the app and stop using the service.

1. Account

• You must provide a valid email and a password of at least 8 characters including 1 uppercase letter and 1 number.
• You are responsible for keeping your password secret. We will never ask for it via email or chat.
• You must be at least 13 years old.

2. Acceptable use

You may not use Privex VPN to:

• Send spam, phishing, malware, or run port-scans of remote hosts.
• Distribute child sexual abuse material or content depicting violence toward identifiable people.
• Conduct attacks (DoS/DDoS) against any target.
• Violate the laws of your jurisdiction or the destination network.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that we identify as engaging in the above.

3. Service availability

Privex VPN is provided on an as-is, best-effort basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or specific throughput. Maintenance windows may cause brief disruptions; we'll announce planned ones in-app when feasible.

4. Subscriptions & refunds

• Free plans grant limited access to free-tier servers.
• Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each period until canceled.
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period; you retain access until then. Cancel any time in-app.
• Refund requests within 14 days of first purchase are honored. After 14 days, refunds are at our discretion.

5. Privacy

Our handling of your data is described in the Privacy Policy. By using the service you consent to the data handling described there.

6. Intellectual property

The Privex name, logo, brand assets, and software are owned by us or our licensors. You may not redistribute, reverse-engineer, or rebrand the client apps without written permission.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Privex VPN is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service, or for losses caused by network outages, government action, or third-party intermediaries (Cloudflare, ISPs, payment processors).

8. Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We can terminate accounts that breach these Terms or remain inactive for more than 24 months.

9. Changes

If we materially change these Terms we'll notify you in-app and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use after the change is acceptance.
